The Genesis of PKC Foundation
From the early days of PKC Laundries, we recognized the importance of supporting the communities that support us. PKC Foundation was established to channel our resources and expertise into meaningful contributions to society.
Our primary initiative involves PKC Donation Boxes, strategically placed clothes banks in gated communities and office spaces. These boxes collect used clothes, shoes, blankets, and other items that people no longer need.
How It Works
The process is simple yet impactful:
- Collection: Residents and employees donate items to the PKC Donation Boxes.
- Cleaning and Packing: At PKC Laundries, we clean, sanitize, and pack these donations with utmost care.
- Distribution: The items are distributed to underprivileged families, individuals in need, and victims of disasters or hardships.
Making a Tangible Difference
PKC Foundation has collected and distributed over 800 kilograms of clothes and essentials. From warm blankets for those sleeping rough during harsh winters to essential clothing for disaster victims, these contributions have brought comfort and dignity to countless lives.
One of our proudest moments was receiving recognition from the district collector, who appreciated our efforts to uplift the community. This acknowledgment was not just an honor—it was a reminder of the impact we can make when we come together for a cause.
